Real companionship & practical support when needed most.

Human Time intends to connect individuals with a caring professional for conversation, errands, appointments, and the moments that feel heavy to do alone.

A Companion Support Service for Adults

Human Time is in development, created to address one of the most overlooked needs in adult life:

Real, reliable human connection

We aren’t therapy or crisis intervention.
Instead, we offer
structured companionship for adults who feel
lonely, isolated, or simply in need of someone to spend time with.

Why HumanTime?

Hundreds of thousands of adults in Aotearoa experience chronic loneliness.* Many fall through the cracks: not in crisis, but not okay either. Human Time exists to fill this gap with dignity, compassion, and presence.

We are building a Pay-It-Forward model where people can sponsor hours for others who otherwise couldn’t access support.

*According to Loneliness.org.nz (https://loneliness.org.nz/nz/facts/many-kiwis-feel-lonely/)

Sessions could include:

Companionship

Walks
Conversation
Cooking together
or simply sitting in the moment

Present, kind, and unhurried.

Appointments & Errands

Rides to the GP, pharmacy runs, groceries, forms, and phone calls — with someone by your side.

At-home support

Work together on Light tasks, decluttering, settingup tech, or making a plan for the week ahead.

Where We’re At

Right now, Human Time is in the
pre-funding and pre-operational stage.

We are seeking support, feedback, and connections to bring the pilot program to life in Taumarunui, Ōwhango, and surrounding communities.

Help us out? We need feedback:

We have a questioner to gather information from the community.
Things are hard out there, so as thanks, we have given is a chance to win a
$50 voucher each month.
